Catching Up

I've been totally distracted for several weeks now with a house full of kittens. Actually, there are only two kittens, it just seems like a house full.

I've also been devoting my time to creating some less involved fiber pieces for the Gainesville Artisans Gallery.

Exciting days ahead

These are exciting days. I have a lot of things to get done in the next few weeks. Those of you that have expressed interest in taking metalsmithing classes under my instruction will be pleased to read that It's becoming possible. Whoa That and so much more, later. Beaducation is an on-line commercial shoppe with on-line video classes. I've both shopped with them and done free and purchased classes. I've been very pleased with both my purchases and the classes. Beaducation currently has 10 free classes, 29 classes available for purchase, and 9 classes marked "coming soon." I have uploaded some of my first makings.  Bear in mind these are coming from someone who has never used a torch, jump rings or pliers before!  Seeing all the jewelry on this site is both intimidating and inspiring.  I am really enjoying making jewelry.  I find myself sneaking upstairs to my studio more and more.  Sometimes I even forget to make dinner for my family....My husband calls himself the jewelry widow.  Oh and he is really enjoying seeing my every piece an...
